Megan Gale

Gale who was 18 at the time had won an 18-year-old Perth model competition in her early teens. Gale took part in a modelling contest in Perth at the age of 18. After many years of the field, Gale became famous when she was selected to appear in an advertisement campaign of Omnitel the Italian telecom firm (now Vodafone Italy). They used her in advertisements through 2006, and she was chosen in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the face for Australia in Italy.' Gale's cover appearances include Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ as well as Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale has also appeared in articles of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has been a model at Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and has also worked on runways in the fashion houses of Mariella Burani as well as Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a huge fan of numerous Australian fashion designers, including Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She served as the fashion analyst for Australian television's Logies awards in 2006. In January 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modelling after 15 years. She also walked down the catwalk one last time just weeks later at the David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. Her final outfit was the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the still-shelved film Justice League of America.
