Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has appeared in eleven Broadway productions - including the revival of Violet - and originated parts in Broadway performances of The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. The first time she appeared on television in Star Search at age 15 as well as has been seen on Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster is a soloist performing in the US and overseas along with Michael Rafter. They have covered songs off her debut CD "Wish" and her follow-up album An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. In 2011, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree at Ball State University where she also is on faculty as a teacher and advisor for members of the Department of Theatre and Dance. Since March, 2015, she has been starring as "Younger" on TVLand which is a brand new series developed by Darren Star.
