Winner of the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through a lot of struggle and immense patience. Jones is a child born into a single mother and had five children living who were stricken by poverty and hardship as a child, had an incredibly difficult childhood. She began to train for a career in track. In 2005 she was first in the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she took one of the Heusden and Ostrava runners.
