Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her life, including taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the series was returning to its production. The fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social media.
